In 2020, I had the honor of tackling the event site for the third year running. But, of course, 2020 threw us a curveball with COVID-19, flipping our in-person event on its head into a full-on virtual extravaganza. Yet, our team rose to the challenge and rocked Google's first-ever virtual event, spanning a whopping nine weeks and pulling in over 100,000 eager participants. Pulling off this epic feat demanded a boatload of digital wizardry – from content to features – all to ensure our virtual audience felt right at home.
